About Devin

Devin grew up with 3 sisters and 1 brother, he fits in nicely at number 3 of 5.  He has a very good relationship with all his siblings and loves to make people laugh.

Devin had a happy and healthy childhood.  He grew up in Utah playing almost every sport under the sun.  He still loves playing and watching sports today.  He especially loves playing golf, football and basketball.  He plays golf any chance he can get and has even gotten me into playing golf so we now golf as a family.  Our son, Talon, comes with and loves to drive the golf cart or jump out and hit a ball or two.  Devin plays basketball once a week at the ward and loves to play in rec leagues too.  He lives a healthy and active lifestyle which motivates me to try to do the same.  Talon loves to go to the basement and "work out with Daddy".  It's pretty funny to see a 3 year old trying to do lunges, sit ups and push ups.

Devin loved the 2 year mission he served for our church to Bahia Blanca, Argentina.  He speaks Spanish pretty fluently and still loves the people and the language.  He has even taught Talon how to count to 10 in Spanish.

Devin asked me out on his birthday almost 11 years ago.  I didn't know it was his birthday until we were at the Utah Jazz game.  After the game we went out for dinner and I insisted on paying since it was his birthday.  So essentially I paid for our first date.  That same week that we started dating Devin graduated from the University of Utah majoring in Communications with a minor in Spanish.  We got married two years later and haven't looked back since.

Devin is an all hands on Dad who helps with baths, reading, diapers, potty training, bed time rituals and all the other stuff kids bring.  He also helps with household chores too; cleaning up after dinner, doing dishes, sweeping up after every meal, etc.

Devin is a hard worker and provides well for our family.  He works as a medical sales rep and sells resuscitation devices to hospitals in the surrounding states.  I feel so blessed that I am able to stay at home and take care of our family.  I am one lucky girl!
