About Talon

Talon is a very active, fun and energetic 3 year old.  He is very much all boy and keeps us on our toes.  He loves everything and anything with wheels.  That includes trucks, airplanes, diggers, dump trucks, bikes etc.  He especially L.O.V.E.S. to wrestle with his Dad!

Talon is a big sunbeam this year.  The first day in sunbeams when all the other sunbeams were crying Talon told me he would sit on the back row by himself.  And so he did!  It was hilarious, I don't think he wanted to sit with all the other crying kids on the front row.  But since then he sits with his class, participates and loves it!

He also started preschool this year and goes twice a week.  It's crazy how fast he's growing, he's learned all the letters in the alphabet, what sounds they make, how to write his name, all his colors and shapes.  It's amazing how much a little one can learn in just a few short years.

Talon turned into quite the little fish this past summer.  He's learned to hold his breath under water and kick to the edge of the pool.  His favorite trick was doing summersaults under the water.  There is a neighborhood pool that we spend a lot of time at in the summertime.  We usually pack a lunch and spend a few hours there.  There is always friends to sit with whenever we go and we have lots of fun.

We plan on signing Talon up for Soccer this year and seeing what other sports he enjoys.  We want our kids to explore all different activities to see what they are interested in.  Extracurricular activities will always be important to our family.

Kelly was able to take Talon to see "Toy Story 3" on ice this past year with some of her friends and their kids.  We ended up with first row tickets.  Woody came to the edge of the ice rink and waved to Talon who was dressed in his best Woody attire.

We love doing arts and crafts and finding new ways to entertain a three year old.  This last year Talon has started to hike along side of us on the little hikes.  It's been so fun to see him grow and experience new things.

Talon is so excited to be a big brother and talks and prays for it often.  He even talks about his "imaginary" siblings and gives them names.  Although to him they aren't imaginary, they just "live at the beach" instead of at our house.  He has a very fun imagination that keeps us all laughing.  He loves to hold friends babies and is so sweet with them.  We can't wait for the day we get to make Talon a big brother!
